AIEE Q&A
When an AIEE member uses OpenAI Image Gen, are all text and image API charges billed to my globally connected OpenAI API account?
Yes
Can individual members supply their own OpenAI API key so their usage is billed to them instead of me?
Currently, no, but we are working of this exact feature, so members can bring their own key, so we don’t charge on your API.
Can I limit or meter image generations separately from ordinary chat messages?
No
Does AIEE have a credit system, a monthly image allowance, or a paid top-up system for members?
No
Which OpenAI image model does the OpenAI Image Gen Dyno currently use?
Gpt-image-2.5-flare
What quality and resolution does it generate, and can I control those settings?
Images are currently generated at 1024×1024 low resolution, and the quality and resolution settings cannot be adjusted at this time.
Does one Dyno call always create exactly one image?
Currently, yes. But you can add instructions in the engine, to create more and we are adding its support
Can different AIEE Engines use different OpenAI API keys so I can track costs separately?
No, they use the same API KEY connected in your global integrations
Can members build their own apps or can they only access apps I've built?
No, they can only access the ones you built.
Can I restrict access to paying students and set usage limits to control operating costs?
Restricting access to paying students is straightforward if they’re inside ProductDyno. If you’re using another platform, you’ll need to sync and manage your paying customers on your own. You can also set limits on daily sessions and messages.
Can I sell access to my engines inside my ProductDyno member area?
Yes. This is allowed and the intended purpose of Personal Unlimited.
Can I use the DFY engines the same way?
Yes, the same applies. You can even customize the DFY engines after importing them to your account and sell access to them just like the engines they build themselves.
Can I restrict each customer to their purchased product and set usage limits?
Yes. Each engine is attached to a ProductDyno product, so a customer only sees the engines for the product they bought. You can also set daily usage limits per user for each engine to control usage and your AI costs.
Can I use the DFY engines for my clients?
Yes, that’s fine. Once they have imported the DFY engines into their account, they can also customize them however they like and use them for their clients as well.
