You can use the Offline Payment Gateway for the following:

NOTE: This is for COLLECTIONS only.
When you are migrating from other platforms and want to assign a gateway to all of your imported customers. You can create a gateway using “Offline” and give it a name. You then use this gateway to filter the imported customers. 

1. First create the Offline Payment Integration in the Collection before importing your customers
2.  After you click "Import members", select the package to be assigned to these members. The names of the payment gateways integrated into the collection are shown - choose the Offline Payment Gateway.

  If you are creating an integration on your end and want to use the Members API but you also need to pass a “gateway” parameter to the API. You create a gateway using “Offline” and use the ID inside the API call.
